Why More People Want To Try a Raw Diet Plan

We're living in a time right now when some of the most prevalent foods in grocery stores are junk food. Sure, there are healthy foods such as produce and organic items, but most of the aisles in the middle are packed with unhealthy foods. That is what's causing people to look towards a raw diet plan.

Have you actually read the labels on food products? A lot of the ingredients are synthetic, chemicals or genetically modified. They contain mass amounts of MSG and processed sugars. Do you really think chips provide some sort of nutrition?

The great news is we actually have alternatives that do provide quality nutrition to keep your body healthy and in good working condition.

So what foods can you place into a raw diet plan? Raw foods are unprocessed and uncooked plant foods, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, sprouts, seeds, nuts, grains, beans, dried fruit and seaweed.

Heating food above 116 degrees F is believed to destroy enzymes that can assist in the digestion and absorption of food. This means foods like hamburgers, processed foods and even pasteurized milk is lacking the necessary amount of enzymes and vitamins needed by the body.

You can dive right into this plan or you can gradually move towards more of these healthy foods that existed long before chips and hot dogs. My family chose to move gradually and we incorporate these foods everyday.

If you want to get healthier and live a life with less pain and discomfort then look into a raw diet plan that is a good fit for you. I'm sure these three words have popped into your head already: boring, tasteless and expensive.

I thought the same things and I was wrong. There are tons of delicious raw recipes that anyone would love including me and my young kids. If I can start eating broccoli and enjoy the taste then I'm sure anyone can.
