I don't know about you, but I don't want anything to do with something that has the word crash in it! Car crash, plane crash or crashing after a hard days work. Give me a break. What could be the benefit of crash diet plans? You might think losing a few pounds would be worth going on a crash diet.
Well, let's look at one definition of crash diets: "A crash diet is a diet which is extreme in its nutritional deprivations, typically severely restricting calorie intake. It is meant to achieve rapid weight loss and may differ from outright starvation only slightly. They are not meant to last for long periods of time, at most a few weeks. Importantly, the term specifically implies a lack of concern for proper nutrition."
A few weeks of near starvation with no concern for proper nutrition? Just to lose a few pounds. Not for me.
So is it possible to lose weight fast without going on a crash diet? Of course it is. Does it require a little bit of hard work on your part or can you just buy the latest magic pill to make the weight go away? You know the answer and your not even an expert on nutrition. Obviously, you need to control what you eat, how much of that food you eat and when you eat. Also, you need to lead an active lifestyle to burn the calories you eat. It ain't rocket science. So get up and get moving.
