On a routine search of the internet you will come across several varieties of the "day diet plan." There is the one day diet plan, the 48 hour (or two day diet plan), there is the three day diet plan, and then there is the seven day diet plan. Being a woman who loves her food, but who also likes to fit in her clothing, I have tried many, many diets in my time. Let me share a bit of my experience with the one day diet plan.
The One Day Diet Plan
First of all, the title is misleading. This one day diet plan is perpetual; meaning, you are on the diet one day, have a break for one day, and then you return to the diet, and so on and so forth. The theory behind it is that you can do anything for one day. I share this motto, and decided to try this diet myself.
Day 1: On your "on" days of the one day diet, you consume only the specially formulated diet wafers and raw fruit. Beverages should contain no calories (think water). Water is key to being able to burn fat. If you are dehydrated, your results will not be what you want, and you may end up in the emergency room to boot. So drink up!
Day 2: On your "off" days of the one day diet, you are to eat as you normally eat with no changes whatsoever.
Day 3: Repeat Day 1.
Day 4: Repeat Day 2.
And so on, and so forth.
The Good: The off days are fantastic. Who would not like to say "I'm on a diet, pass me the pizza?" Also, keeping to a diet routine for only one day at a time is not as difficult as your traditional diet routine of denial, denial, denial. The plan is simple, there is not much to wrap your brain around. You eat what you want one day, then the next fruit and these wafers. The wafers are not gross at all. In fact, you will be pleased to munch one down when you are on your diet day.
Your metabolism is constantly on a roller coaster so you do not get the plateau effect as you do with many crash diets. You confuse your body into losing weight. This does work from my personal experience.
The Bad: The on days are not fantastic. There are three flavors of wafer, but even chocolate gets old after awhile. No one wants to say "I'm on a diet, no pizza for me, pass me a melon slice." That, and the wafers that you can buy on the internet are not cheap. Nearly fifty bucks for a month's supply. Well, I guess that is not so expensive when you consider you will not be chipping in on the pizza bill, but fruit is awful expensive as well.
Ultimate Review: Go ahead and try it. You will lose weight, and you may be good at this type of short term diet plan. Everyone falls off the wagon at times, but it is easy to pick yourself up when tomorrow is another day. However, if you combine the Day Diet Plan with Hoodia supplementation your metabolism will increase and you will have less cravings. Hoodia is a natural plant that grows in the African desert and has a multitude of anti-oxidant properties. The plant increases the metabolic rate and regulates the body to burn calories faster. Therefore it is recommended to take Hoodia supplements from the Hoodia Diet Plan [hoodiadietplan.org] in combination with the Day Diet Plan.
David Millers reviews diet plans and recommends the use of the Day Diet Plan in alliance with the [hoodiadietplan.org] website.
