Weight Loss Advice - Lose Weight With A Good Diet Plan

Weight loss advice has helped many dieters to lose weight and fulfil their dieting goals. Here is some advice that I think will help you to lose weight.

Losing weight successfully is usually best achieved over a period of a at least a few months.

For this you will need a good diet plan. This is essential because if you do not have one it will be difficult to stick to your diet.

The first thing you should do is create a menu for the week ahead.

You can use the internet to find low fat foods and ones that are low in calories. Make sure that you avoid fattening foods such as crisps and doughnuts. It is a good idea to make a list of foods to avoid.

You could start your day with a grapefruit drink and some porridge oats with skimmed milk.

Carry on searching for foods that you will eat for lunch and your main meal.

For women of average size and build you should eat less than 2500 calories per day to lose weight and for men of average size and build you should eat less than 2800 calories per day.

If you can cut back by about 200 calories per day this will be great.

Once you have a diet plan ready, the next thing you need to do is prepare a fitness plan.

This is important because you will find that you will lose weight more easily if you can also burn some extra calories.

If you do little exercise a good way to start would be to start walking briskly for half an hour each day.

If you are already quite fit you could try cycling and swimming. Having two different types of exercise, (called cross training) that you like is good because it helps to prevent you becoming bored.

The important thing is to find something that you enjoy, then you will be more likely to stick at it.

As you start to lose weight you will notice that you become fitter at the same time. You will notice that you can walk or cycle further.

This is important because it will give you a feeling of well being and encourage you to stick with your diet.

So to recap, prepare a menu of food for the week ahead and a list of foods to avoid. Produce a fitness programme and within one month you are sure to see the weight falling off.
