Creating a Menu for the HCG Diet Plan

Eating well on the HCG diet plan is probably the most challenging issue you will face. During the second phase of the plan, you will need to keep your caloric intake below 500 calories a day. You will also need to maintain the restricted diet for at least 20 days and as much as 40, depending on your weight loss goals. To stick to the plan, you will need to create a menu that is exciting, delicious, and healthy. No matter how much willpower you have, sticking to a boring diet rarely works.

First, you should know the diet protocol recommended by Dr. Simeons. The HCG diet plan generally recommends eating two meals a day. For breakfast, try drinking some tea or coffee with a tablespoon of milk. Tea is actually a good appetite suppressant and can keep you going until lunch. Each of your next two meals should include one portion of meat, one portion of vegetables, and a small amount of fruit. You can eat a breadstick or a piece of Melba toast as well. Each food group should contain one, and only one item from that group. A salad would not work on this diet plan. You should also drink two liters of water every day.
