The maple syrup diet is effective to the point that since nothing is ingested but sugared water for ten days, fecal material is removed from the body.

This type of dieting is on the extreme side and it works. The issue is all crash dieting ultimately proves to be unhealthy. The maple syrup diet plan deprives the body of the calories it needs to function normally. It does not have the fiber, proteins, vitamins and minerals to keep the body healthy.
