Low Fat Diet Plan to Inspire

We are always told to go on a low fat diet - we are always motivated to start with this diet and yet, one reason why we are so hesitant is because we don't know how to start or we don't know how to prepare one meal that screams LOW FAT.

We all want to try the low fat diet plan and all its glory but we are not so equipped with information regarding how to prepare this so-called diet. A low fat diet plan is surely a great way to start shedding some unwanted fats off our waists, but how should we go about it again?

You need an easy diet plan that will give you back the confidence when you started to lose right before Christmas. There is always a time to celebrate and there is always an excuse to give up. Most of the time, we ask this question:

What's for dinner?

And dinner needs not to be heavy if you are planning to lose that weight and you know it. So instead of reaching out for a low fat cookbook, we get impatient and would hit a fast food joint instead. We simply do not have the luxury of time to prepare a healthy meal for ourselves, and so, our bodies pay the price.

So without much ado, here is a sample of a real simple low fat spaghetti recipe:

Ingredients:

? 2 tsp olive oil

? 1 garlic clove, crushed

? 1 medium onion, finely chopped

? 1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced

? 3/4 pound extra-lean ground beef

? 1 cup of pre-sliced cremini mushrooms

? 1 tsp dried oregano

? 1 14-ounce can crushed tomatoes

? 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

? 1/4 cup fat free milk

? 3/4 pound wholewheat spaghetti

Heat oil and add garlic, onion and carrots; stir until they are softened; Add the beef and cook until it's brown; Now add the oregano and your cremini mushrooms; Cook them for 2 minutes, pour the tomatoes and the Worcestershire sauce and let it simmer for 25 minutes. Pour in the milk and stir for another ten minutes.

This low fat spaghetti is just 315 calories per serving. See - it wouldn't take a Rachel Ray to pull this one. All it takes is for you to realize that to go low fat is not at all difficult to practice.

So the next time you ask yourself what's for dinner, you know what to do. And this time, you have no more excuse to order that full-of-grease burger you've been eating for quite some time now.
